John Fox: Denver Broncos 3 Year Contract Extension

The Denver Broncos have agreed to a three-year extension with head coach John Fox, reports Jay Glazer of Fox Sports.

Fox has led Denver to a 34-14 record since joining the team in 2011, and took the team to the Super Bowl last season.

The coach missed several games in 2013 after undergoing heart valve replacement surgery. Defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio, who also signed an extension with the team this offseason, served as interim coach while Fox was hospitalized.

The new deal will being this season, cancelling the final year of Fox’s existing contract with the team.
